The Brief
We were asked to upgrade the original 11-year-old fire alarm system with minimal disruption to daily business. This included adding additional detection where required.
The Team
Fully trained technical engineer/project engineer, fully trained commissioning engineer and two fully trained NICEIC registered electricians.
Our Response
Following the initial request for the work to be completed, we sent a team to site carry out an evaluation of the existing fire alarm system. Our team discovered the cinema was at risk of false alarms due to an elaborate, unstable and ageing existing system. We explained our findings to the client and provided a full report.
The Results
The system was upgraded with minimal disruption to the client and within the allocated project time frame. IQ Fire Solutions has since been asked to carry out further work with excellent feedback from the client.
