The Brief
Gainsborough Studios in London, N1, is a prestigious canal-side development situated on the site of Alfred Hitchcock’s film studio, consisting of five tower blocks.
Following an expert report on the external wall system and discussions with the London Fire Brigade, the decision was made to install additional fire safety measures inside apartments.
Our Response
IQ Fire solutions installed up to three heat detection devices in approximately 160 apartments across the five tower blocks – East Private, East Housing, North, South, and West.
The whole project took approximately three months to complete.
The Results
The project was completed on budget and on time.
